Lou Ferrigno

Far from the days he was green and full of rage as television's "Incredible Hulk," versatile Lou Ferrigno is continuing to surprise audiences with his diverse talents as an actor, voiceover specialist, a writer of bodybuilding and fitnessssss guides, and a professional speaker before collegiate and corporate audiences. As an infant, Lou developed an ear infection that caused him to lose 85 percent of his hearing. He says, "This forced me to maximize my own potential. I have to be better than the average person to succeed. That's why I chose bodybuilding. If I became a world champion, if I could win admiration from my peers; I could do anything." Born in Brooklyn, Lou once played professional football for the Toronto Argonauts, but later moved to California to advance his bodybuilding career. He won titles for Mr. Teenage America, Mr. America, Mr. International and Mr. Universe two consecutive years! Lou discovered he wanted to act. Through perseverance to overcome the stereotypes of a aactor who is deaf, he landed the role of "The Incredible Hulk." A series which ran for four years. He also starred as Johnny Six in the ABC series "Trauma Center" and several fantasy films to include "Hercules," "Cage," and "Desert Warrior." He is also the author of "Lou Ferrigno's Guide to Personal Power, Bodybuilding and Fitness for Everyone." He still maintains a solid body at 260 pounds and stands 6 foot, 5 inches . Lou also speaks to college and corporate audiences. He delivers several programs on building your personal as well as physical power.
